Rathlin Island (6th June 2006)
Today we managed to catch the ferry to Rathlin. It was a beautiful sunny day: the sky and sea were so blue. I thank God that we have access to very accurate weather information on the Internet here, and that my job has the flexibility that I can take a day off at the drop of a hat (unless responsibilities hinder me).
We ate some crab cakes at a mobile diner as Mary misses the crab that is the local speciality of her parents' home city, Baltimore. They weren't a patch on what you'd get in Maryland! We went home via Whitepark Bay, which you can see at the end of this post.
