Belfast Maritime Festival (1st July 2006)

Mary and Kids on Tall Ship

This was a great event and we highly recommend it (and it was free). There were 8 tall ships at the festival; all of which could be boarded. There was also a continental market at which vendors from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc., etc., sold various goods including sausages, paella, soaps, ostrich and kangaroo burgers (very nice), books, ornaments, etc. More information on the Festival can be found here and photos of the ships can be found here.
