Snowshill Manor (22nd July)

We visited this property in the Cotswolds which houses an eclectic and eccentric mix of bizarre objects amassed by the owner, who bought this house for the purpose! We were really interested in seeing the garden, which is supposed to be really nice, but a huge thunderstorm came just as we came to the house, which imprisoned us for some time! We eventually decided to make a break for it to get to Chastleton House which we had booked to see, but this didn't turn out too bad and we dried off quickly in the warmth. The power was out in the shop, but we still managed to buy a few things.

Personally, I wasn't all that fussed with the house. We hadn't originally intended to go, but we were forced by the fact that Peter had left a toy behind in Hidcote, which was nearby.
