Anne Hathaway's Cottage (21st July)

Anne Hathaway's Cottage is not only the quientessential English cottage, but it also has the the quientessential cottage garden too. This is probably the most beautiful garden that we have ever seen, along with Sissinghurst and Hidcote.

Anne Hathaway was Shakespeare's wife and the cottage is located on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon. Although not an NT property, we still managed to get a 2-for-1 voucher to make it cheaper.

It's a small world as they say, and we ended up meeting Knox Hyndman, the pastor of our Newtownards' congregation and Lecturer of Church History at our College, with his family!
